This post-1980 rebozo was hand woven on a back strap loom in two cotton blend panels. The panels are joined by a decorative seam embroidered on a non-commercial sewing machine featuring flower designs. It also features simple ikat dyed warp stripes. Typical of Zunil rebozos, it has a hand knotted fringe only on one end. This rebozo is in excellent condition. It was acquired from Julio Cesar Ajanel of Panajachel. W114 x L153 cm plus fringe.
