Zunil corte (wrap skirt). Weft 85 x Warp 448 cm opened. This pre-1980 corte was hand woven on a foot treadle loom in one cotton panel. This panel has many weft stripes featuring complex and sharply defined ikat dye patterns. The warp threads and much of the weft threads are dyed with indigo. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from Bonifacia Mendez Bocó of Santa Maria de Jesus. (9-189) $ 90.
