Zunil men’s costume in four pieces. (shirt, pants, sash, headdress)
This costume is a new copy of an old design that is no longer available. It appears to be very closely patterned after the painting of a Zunil men’s costume in
Carmen Petersen’s “Maya de Guatemala”, p. 121, painted in 1972. The materials are hand woven in the traditional style. It appears to be new. The ensemble
was acquired from Julio Cesar Ajanel of Panajachel. (6-571) $ 100 for the set. OBO Pieces not sold separately
