Hand woven on a foot treadle loom in two weft-striped indigo-dyed cotton panels featuring complex ikat dye patterns. Ikat is a dyeing technique used to pattern textiles that employs a resist dying process of threads before they are woven. This fine example is in very good condition. Circa 1970.
