Zunil vintage daily huipil.

Hand woven on a back strap loom in two warp-striped all cotton base panels that are joined by a multi-colored, hand embroidered decorative seams. This huipil is faithfully done in a traditional style and colors. The collar is trimmed with a hand-embroidered buttonhole stitch. Zunil huipils are now rare without a heavy yoke of machine embroidery. Shadow weave weft stripes. Circa 1970. This classic example is in very good condition.
