Zunil classic daily huipil.

This pre-1980 daily huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two warp-striped all cotton base panels. These panels are joined by a multi-colored, hand embroidered decorative seams. This huipil is faithfully done in a traditional style and colors. The collar is trimmed with a hand-embroidered buttonhole stitch. Zunil huipils are now rare without a heavy yoke of machine embroidery. This classic example is in very good condition. It was acquired from Sra.
