Zunil rebozo (shawl).

This 1980’s rebozo was hand woven on a back strap loom in two warp-striped all cotton panels that are joined by a hand embroidered decorative seam. There are simple ikat dyed patterns in some of the warp stripes. Typical of Zunil rebozos, it has a hand knotted fringe only on one end. This rebozo is in like new condition and in the most traditional of colors. It was acquired from the collection of an ex-US diplomat in Guatemala. W 135 x L 150 cm plus fringe. (16-36) $ 80. OBO
