Zunil huipil de niña.

This post-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two white warp-striped cotton panels joined by hand embroidered decorative seams. This huipil is faithfully done in a traditional style and colors. The collar is trimmed with a hand embroidered flowers. These huipils are now rare in cotton, traditional colors and without a heavy yoke of machine embroidery. This classic example is in very good condition. It was acquired from the Centro des Textiles Tradicionales Nim Po’t in Antigua. W 59 x L 56 cm. (15-171) $ 40. OBO
