Totonicapan rebozo (shawl).

This circa-2000 rebozo was hand woven, probably on a foot treadle loom in one wide warp-striped cotton panel. It features precise ikat dyed patterns in indigo in the warp stripes, complex hand knotted fringes and a complete sets of pom-poms on each end. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from Sra. Sofia Monroy Tepeu of San Pedro Sacatepequez (G) in Antigua. W 73 x L 188 cm plus fringes and pom-poms. (20-71) $ 125 or best offer.
