Totonicapan rebozo.

This circa-1980 rebozo was hand woven on a back strap loom in one panel of silk and cotton. The cotton warp stripes are decorated with ikat dye patterns in indigo. The purple and violet warp threads are silk. The fringe is hand knotted. Totonicapan rebozos with silk are no longer produced and are increasingly rare. This unique example is in excellent condition. It was acquired from a private collection in Guatemala. W 72 x L 156 cm plus fringes on each end. (18-43) $ 375. OBO
