This pre-1980 daily huipil was hand woven on a foot treadle loom in one indigo dyed cotton base panel. This panel decorated with supplementary weft brocade featuring universal diamond motifs. Totonicapan huipils on an indigo dyed base are rare. This fine example is in very good condition.
