Totonicapán rebozo (shawl).
This post-1980 rebozo was hand woven on a back strap loom in one weft striped cotton panel. These stripes include those with
complex ikat, a dyeing technique used to pattern textiles that employs a resist dyeing process similar to tie-dye.
This rebozo is in excellent condition. It was acquired from Ana Carolina Ajanel of Chichicastenango. . W56 x L162 cm plus fringes. (11-200) $80.
