This post-1980 daily huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in three dark red cotton panels. These panels are heavily decorated with supplementary brocade featuring complex, almost abstract, geometric designs. Like all fine Todos Santos huipils, the interior is a forest of loose threads. The head hole is surrounded by appliqued rick-rack in typical Todos Santos style. The head and arm holes are trimmed with velvet. It is in excellent condition.
