This circa-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in 3 warp-striped cotton base panels that are decorated with supplementary brocade in geometric patterns. The collar decoration with narrow zigzag appliqué ribbon is typical of Todos Santos huipils. This example is in very good condition. It was acquired at the Centro des Textiles Tradicionales Nim Po’t in Antigua. W 52 x L 48 cm. (15-169) $ 35. OBO
