Tecpan daily huipil.

This circa-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two very well-balanced blue cotton base panels. These panels are decorated with horizontal bands of supplementary weft brocade featuring a variety of geometric motifs. The head and arm openings are trimmed with red velveteen. This classic example is uniquely long and heavy and well woven. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from an important private collection in Antigua. W 94 x L 102 cm. (19-74) $ 180. OBO
