Hand woven on a back strap loom in two cotton panels. It is in the ceremonial style. Most of the warp is “ixcaco” – hand spun undyed naturally brown cotton. Plumed serpent, universal diamond and bird motifs. Circa 1980. It is in very good condition. Acquired from Bonifacia Mendez Bocó at the Mercado de Artesanos in Antigua. 87 x 114 cm. (12-183) $ 175.
