Tactic and Tamahú are Poqomchi villages in the Department of Alta Verapaz near the departmental capital of Coban. Their huipils are now largely indistinguishable,
with the same styles found in both villages. Huipils in these styles, popular among other Maya women, are now made as trade huipils and worn throughout the Maya
highlands.
