Solola chumpa - men's ceremonial jacket.
Shoulders W47 X L54 x sleeves 50 cm. This circa-1970 men's ceremonial jacket was hand woven on a back strap loom in 2
panels of undyed hand-spun wool and then tailored into a jacket. It is decorated with black hand made applique designs.
The design on the back symbolizes a bat. This jacket has been used in many cofradia society ceremonies. Authentic examples
such as this are rare. It is in very good condition. It was collected from Julio Cesar Ajanel of Panajachel.
