Santo Domingo Xenacoj ceremonial huipil. H: 28”, W: 42”. Code: K7. This huipil was hand woven on a backstrap loom in two well matched cotton
base panels that are joined by hand embroidered decorative seams. The surface decoration is supplementary brocade, some in silk, featuring various
zoomorphic motifs. The photograph shows the back, which is more heavily decorated than the front. Circa 1980. This fine huipil is part of the
collection of the Centro de Textiles Tradicionales Nim Po’t in Antigua Guatemala. $425. (15-21)
