Santiago Atitlán faja (men’s sash).
This circa-1980 faja was hand woven on a back strap loom in one warp striped cotton panel. It features extensive ikat, a process where groups of threads are to
tie-dyed before they are woven in order to create specific patterns. This faja is in excellent condition. It was acquired from Rosario Reanda Quiejú of
