Santiago Atitlán daily huipil.

This post-2000 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two warp striped cotton base panels. All surface decoration is done by hand embroidery. Old style traditional collar design. This huipil is in the style of 1970, but believed to be a “retro” example; done in the style of an earlier time. It is in excellent condition. It was acquired from Sra. Barbara Mendoza Ruiz at her “tienda” in Santiago Atitlán. W 75 X L 72 cm. (16-180) $ 120. OBO
