Santiago Atitlán daily huipil.

This contemporary daily huipil was hand woven on a back-strap loom in two warp striped white cotton base panels. All the surface decoration is done by hand embroidery. This beautiful example is in excellent condition. It was acquired from Antonia Quichon of Santiago Atitlán at the “bomberos” textile market in Panajachel. W 83 x L 74 cm. (16-179) $ 125. OBO
