Santiago Atitlán daily huipil.

This circa-2000 huipil was hand woven on a back-strap loom in two warp striped cotton panels. All the surface decoration is done by hand embroidery. This beautiful example is in very good condition. It was acquired from Antonia Quichon of Santiago Atitlán at the “bomberos” textile market in Panajachel. W 67 x L 74 cm. (15-288) $ 150. OBO
