Santiago Atitlán rebozo - perraje. (small shawl and utility cloth).
This pre-1980 rebozo was hand woven on a back strap loom in one warp striped cotton panel. It features ikat dye patterns,
a dyeing technique used to pattern textiles that employs a resist dying process similar to tie-dye, and hand knotted fringes. Santiago Atitlán rebozos in
this older style are rare. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from Julio Cesar Ajanel at his space in Tinamit Maya on Calle Santander in
