Santiago Atitlán huipil. W 87 x L 150 cm opened. This exceptional contemporary daily huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two blue cotton base panels with purple warp stripes. The surface decoration is all hand embroidered. This modern example features realistic birds over the traditional grid. It is of the finest quality and in excellent condition.
