Santa Maria de Jesus festival blusa (blouse).

This circa-1980 blusa features all hand embroidery on an indigo dyed cotton base. The embroidery features the quetzal bird. Hand embroidered examples of this blusa are rare. It has velveteen trim around the head and arm openings. This fine example is in very good condition. It was acquired from an important private collection in Guatemala. W 70 x L 68 cm. (19-65) $225.
