This post-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in three blue cotton base panels with purple warp-stripes. The center panel is wider and more heavily decorated. The panels are decorated with dense supplementary weft brocade in horizontal rows featuring universal diamond and other geometric motifs. The head and arm openings are trimmed with a hand embroidered buttonhole stitch. It was acquired from Maria Sacajan Perez of San Antonio Palopó at the La Fuente market in Antigua.
