Santa Catarina Palopo daily huipil. (W86 x L154 cm opened) This fine contemporary huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in three cotton panels with a wider center panel. The dense supplementary brocade decoration features rows of geometric designs. The neck and arm holes are trimmed with hand embroidered chain stitch. It was acquired from Maria Secajan Perez of Santa Antonio Palopo. It is in excellent condition. (8-146) $ 140. SOLD.
