This post 1980 corte was hand woven on a foot treadle loom in 2 equal cotton/acrylic blend panels. These panels are joined by hand embroidered decorative seams. It features weft stripes incorporating very consistent ikat patterns. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from Ana Carolina Ajanel in Chichicastenango.
