San Raymundo Sacatepequez daily huipil.

This circa-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two wide, well-matched, warp-striped cotton panels. These panels are decorated by supplementary brocade featuring bird and double-headed eagle motifs. San Raymundo huipils are similar to those of nearby San Juan, but with more purple and greater color ariety. This beautiful example is in excellent condition. It was acquired from an important private collection in Antigua. W 102 x L 66 cm. (19-159) $ 140 or best offer.
