The body of this bag looks like the back-strap loomed skirts from this village. It is warp-striped and decorated with supplementary brocade. It has a long, hand-knotted fringe. This is a very uncommon item. It has been used, but is in very good condition. It was acquired from Sra. Gladys Mendez at her stall in the Mercado des Artesanos in Antigua Guatemala.
