San Pedro Sacatepequez (SM) daily huipil.

This circa-1980 huipil was hand woven on a foot treadle loom in one green cotton panel. This panel is decorated by supplementary brocade featuring facing birds (duality), plant and plumed serpent motifs with universal diamond motifs in black across the shoulders. The collar it trimmed with appliqué ribbon of “jewels”. This outstanding example is in very good condition. It was acquired from Estefana Culajah of Patzún at the La Fuente textile market in Antigua.
