This post-1980 wrap skirt was hand woven on a foot treadle loom in one lightweight panel we think is rayon. It features subtle ikat dye patterns among the weft stripes. These cortes are increasing ly uncommon. Because of its color, light brown instead of yellow, this corte is unique, probably a recent local fashion innovation. It is in excellent condition. It was acquired from Juana Mateo Rosales at her shop in Tinamet Maya on Calle Santander in Panajachel. Weft 94 x warp 390 cm opened. (11-176) $ 95. OBO
