San Pedro Sacatepequez (G) daily huipil.

This post-1980 daily huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two well-matched white cotton panels. The panels are heavily decorated with supplementary brocade featuring facing quetzal birds, a duality symbol, and geometric motifs. The head and arm openings are trimmed with velvet and appliqué ribbon. This classic example is in excellent condition. It was acquired from the collection of Centro de Textiles Tradicionales Nim Po’t in Antigua. W 78 x L 62 cm. (15-117) $ 135. OBO
