San Pedro Sacatepequez (G) daily huipil.

This post-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two white cotton panels joined by multi-colored hand embroidered decorative seams. The panels are decorated with supplementary brocade featuring plumed serpent, universal diamond and other geometric motifs. The head hole is trimmed with hand embroidered buttonhole stitching. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from Sra. Aguamarina Mateo Rosales at Tinamit Maya on Calle Santander in Panajachel. W93 x L62 cm. (14-43) Was $100. Now $80 or best offer.
