San Pedro Necta daily huipil. W67 x L100 cm opened. This post-1980 daily huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in one cotton panel and decorated with supplementary brocade. The warp of this panel runs horizontally, partially closed along one side to allow a neck hole. This construction is unique to San Pedro Necta huipils. The arm and neck holes are finished with hand embroidered chain stitch. It is in very good condition. It was collected from Ana Carolina Ajanel of Chichicastenango. (6-352) $ 85. SOLD.
