San Pedro Necta daily huipil.

This circa-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in one warp-striped panel. The warp-stripes are horizontal on Necta huipils. The head and arm openings are trimmed with hand embroidery. The surface decoration is supplementary brocade. This fine example in is relatively large and in excellent condition. It was acquired from a private collection in Santa Fe, NM. W76 x L52 cm.
