San Pedro La Laguna rebozo (shawl).

This circa-1980 rebozo was hand woven probably on a foot treadle loom in one warp-striped cotton panel. It features ikat dye patterns and hand knotted fringes on both ends. These rebozos are uncommon. It is in excellent condition. It was acquired from Sra. Josefa Tocco at the “bomberos” textile market in Panajachel. W 75 x L 193 cm plus fringes.
