San Martin Sacatepequez (aka Chile Verde) rebozo (shawl).

This circa-2000 rebozo was hand woven on a back strap loom in one indigo dyed cotton panel with hand knotted fringes at both ends. The surface decoration is supplementary brocade featuring plant, bird and animal motifs. This is an uncommon item. It is in excellent condition. It was acquired Sra.
