This post-1980 rebozo was hand woven on a back strap loom in one brown cotton panel with hand knotted fringes at both ends. The surface decoration is supplementary brocade featuring plant and matched quetzal motifs. This is an uncommon item, especially in brown. It is in very good condition. It was acquired from Petronila Mendez Bocó of Santa Maria de Jesus at her space in the Mercado des Artesanos in Antigua Guatemala. W65 x L180 cm plus fringes. (12-341) $ 125. OBO
