San Lucas Toliman daily huipil.

This post-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two well-matched blue cotton panels. The surface decoration is supplementary brocade featuring rows of small animal and geometric motifs in traditional San Lucas patterns. The collar and armhole openings are decorated with embroidered flowers. It is in excellent condition. This lovely example was acquired from Sra. Milagro Chavez at the La Fuente textile market in Antigua. W 79 x L 60 cm. (19-73) $ 100. OBO
