San Lucas Toliman daily huipil.

This post-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two well-matched turquoise cotton panels. The surface decoration is supplementary brocade featuring rows of small animal and geometric motifs in traditional San Lucas patterns. It has a velvet “luna”, often indicating ceremonial use. It is in excellent condition. This fine example was acquired from Sra. Petronila Mendez Bocó in the Mercado des Artesanos in Antigua. W 73 x L 68 cm. (15-105) Was $90. Now $75 or best offer.
