San Juan Atitán daily huipil.

This circa-1980 daily huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in three primarily red and white warp striped cotton panels. The center panel is wider and more heavily decorated with supplementary brocade in geometric patterns. San Juan Atitán women weave while standing and their huipiles are quite large. This huipil is in very good condition. It was acquired from Sr. Nicolas Mendez Bocó in the Marcado des Artesanos in Antigua. W 100 x L 92 cm. (17-83) $150. OBO
