San Juan Atitan faja. W 26 x L 235 cm plus fringes. This post-1980 faja was hand woven on a back strap loom in one red panel with complex blue
warp stripes. Each end features and area of supplemental brocade featuring universal diamond motifs and hand knotted fringes made of the warp
thread ends. This uncommon item is in excellent condition. It was acquired at the Centro de Textiles Tradicionales Nim Po’t in Antigua
