San Cristobal Totonicapán blusa (blouse).
This circa-2000 blusa features two tiers of gauze collar decorated with hand embroidery and trimmed with crochet over a pink commercial
fabric base. The collar lining is hard to describe – rows of peaked and gathered satin. San Cristobal blusas are uncommon. This is
perhaps the most extravagant example we’ve seen. This very fine blusa is in excellent condition.
It was acquired from an important private collection in Antigua. W (shoulders) 65 x L 71 cm. (19-192) $ 130 or best offer.
