This pre-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in three warp-striped cotton base panels. These narrow, yet complex stripes are multi-colored on a red base. San Antonio Palopó huipils typically do not have supplementary brocade and are enhanced with jewelry. This huipil is in excellent condition. It was acquired from Sr. Sebastian Huarcas in Solola.
