San Andres Xecul blusa.

This blusa features hand embroidery on a yellow commercial cotton base. The embroidery is all hand done in the style unique to San Andres Xecul. The head and arm openings are trimmed with hand embroidery in a buttonhole stitch and features a sunburst motif at the neck and many whimsical animals in the surrounding areas. Xecul blusas are now increasingly rare. This fine example is in very good condition. It was acquired from a private collection in Guatemala. W 100 x L71 cm. (18-65) $125. OBO
