San Andres Semetabaj daily huipil.

This pre-1980 daily huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two well matched black cotton base panels decorated with supplementary brocade in horizontal rows of intricate geometric patterns. This huipil is in the classic Semetabaj design, but atypical colors. The head and arm openings are trimmed with black velvet. This example is in very good condition. It was acquired from the Richard Stanton collection. W 76 x 64 cm. (18-25) $ 75. OBO
