San Andres Sajacabaj corte (wrap skirt). W95 x L426 cm opened. This post-1980 corte was hand woven on a foot treadle loom in two cotton panels. One panel is 85 cm wide (weft) and the other is a 10 cm added piece, typical of many cortes where they want them longer than the loom provides. San Andres Sajacabaj cortes are uncommon. It features various ikat dye patterns and some metallic threads as accents. It is in excellent condition. It was collected from Petronila Mendez Bocó of Santa Maria de Jesus. (5-605) $ 115. SOLD.
