Sacapulas ceremonial huipil.

This post-1980 huipil was hand woven on a back-strap loom in three white cotton panels that are decorated with supplementary brocade in colors and geometric patterns characteristic of Sacapulas huipils. The decoration around the head opening is hand embroidery over taffeta. Sacapulas ceremonial huipils are rare. This classic example is in excellent condition. It was acquired from an important private collection in Antigua. W 88 x L 66 cm. (19-148) $ 360 or best offer.
